Dragon Hills Golf Club is an 18-hole layout spread over 2,400 acres of lush natural mountainside jungle. Jim Enge, an American who worked with Nicklaus design, was responsible for producing this excellent layout. The back nine holes are particularly impressive, as they play through environmentally preserved parklands. The signature holes are 10, 11, and 12. Hole-12 plays to an island green, downhill about 170 yards. Unusually, there are three par 3’s, three par 4’s, and three par 5’s on this back nine, making it a real challenge with no easy holes. The par 4’s and par 5’s play long, with well-placed hazards and sloping back to front greens.
