Evergreen Hills Golf Club & Resort is located in a heavily wooded highland valley of Kanchanaburi province and near to the Burmese border. The climate in the area is mild and offers generally pleasant and cooler temperatures compared to other areas of Thailand. The 18-hole, par-72 course was designed by At-anan Yomchinda and opened in 1994. At 6,879 yards it is not overly long, but still will provide a challenge for golfers of all abilities. The fairways are narrow and lined with 18 different species of tree species while many of the greens have steep slopes. Bunkers come in to play on most holes. Accuracy is more rewarded then length at Evergreen Hills. The most difficult holes are the 16th and 17th as both have water surrounded island greens. Hole 17, a par-4, is also one of several tricky doglegs at Evergreen Hills with water encroaching on both sides of the hole.
